You don't have to be an agent to book the gigs that your music deserves. Industry veteran and founding director of the talent agency Music Work International (MWI) Katherine McVicker has developed international careers for a wide range of world music, Americana, and jazz artists for over three decades. Created in partnership with her team, she has compiled her knowledge into Anyone Can Book a Gig, a six-part practical course designed to prepare artists for a career in the live touring industry. Complete with a selection of worksheets, working templates, and examples from real-world situations and award-winning artists that Katherine has represented for decades, Anyone Can Book a Gig teaches artists the fundamentals of the industry, guides them through the process of booking shows, and gives them the confidence to represent themselves without the need for an agent.
